The dog days of summer are here for sure. Blueberries are in full season in the garden state and the heat index is pushing 110 in the next few days (with high humidity in the mix.. woof!). Here is a mix of summer images I collected. I can't believe I actually found a few spare moments to do it this morning. Enjoy!

feliz primavera (happy spring!)

I found these flower scans on the blog Ellis Hollow over the weekend and I couldn't help but post them as soon as possible. Especially now that it is officially spring, primavera (such a pretty name in spanish no?), I think it's appropriate. It was 75 here on Friday! And now out my window it's snowing? Crazy March. In like a lion, lets hope it goes out like a lamb :)

color for a grey day

Help! I cant see out my windows! There is a sheet of ice on them. My car was frozen solid this morning under a layer of ice. I thought these images seemed appropriate on a cold grey day. I am going to continue the color theme this week so stop back if you are feeling a little dull!

organic autumn collections I cant seem to let go of! It still has not snowed here (it's a warm 60 today) and technically winter does not start until December 21. So i'm hugging onto the crunchy browness of fall for as long as I can.

I had a wonderful thanksgiving and hope you did too! Mine was full of making fresh centerpieces at a local floral shop I free lance for and watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with my girls.

enjoy autumn

this past weekend I went to a fall festival held at an arboretum in our town. My little 3-year-old daughter made this cute craft out of sticks and tissue paper celebrating trees in fall:

I also spent the day yesterday in NYC, I've always loved New York in the Fall. Or maybe just the idea of it. But in my opinion, nothing beats fall in the country. Fall is about the change in leaves. Crunchy, smelly, piles of leaves. I was hard pressed to feel it yesterday. But then again it was 70 something out.

moss comfort garden

If you like moss, think you'll like the new designs I have been working on. Moss comfort garden. Each are designed with preserved moss and faux moss cobbles nestled into a vintage leaf shaped wooden bowl. Remember the post of my vintage wooden bowl collection? This is what I've made with them! They are now available here in the shop.

I have this thing for vintage wooden bowls. I have a passion for collecting them, but at the same time, I hate clutter. I love that I can create a design in it and away they go until I collect more. The same thing goes for milk glass. These are my current collections awaiting for designs to go in them for sale! As the summer is now slowing down for me, I hope to get creative and fill the shop with some new designs and have a summer giveaway!

My favorite milk glass design of all time that I just cant seem to part with is this vintage FTD Design from the 70's. I have seen it in different shapes and I love the raised leaf texture!
